Indra Yudhistira Ramadhan is widely recognized as a creative individual with boundless innovation in creating TV programs and film production. He graduated from the Columbia Academy of Radio, Television, and Recording Arts in Canada, where he majored in TV and Video Production.
His passion for behind-the-scenes challenges drives him to produce exceptional work. Indra has been instrumental in the creation of numerous prestigious programs, including Indonesian Idol, Deal or No Deal Indonesia, The Master, the RCTI Anniversary Concert, the Indonesian Movie Awards, the Panasonic Awards, the AMI (Indonesian Music Awards), the Masterpiece of Erwin Gutawa Concert, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the SEA GAMES 2011 in Palembang, Indonesia.
Indra excels in various roles, serving both as a film director and show director, as well as Show runner and an executive producer. His distinguished reputation has enabled him to participate as a credible judge in multiple international forums, including the MTV Movie Awards, the Asian Television Awards held in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore, and the 35th Emmy International Awards.
Throughout his career, Indra has directed several film projects in both Canada and Indonesia. One of his notable achievements is the musical movie Biarkan Bintang Menari; which is recognized as the first Musical Movie in Indonesia. Other acclaimed works include Sang Penari, Negeri 5 Menara, and Garuda di Dadaku 2, where he served as the executive producer.
Indra is also celebrated as a creator of performing arts, particularly for his work on the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Southeast Asian Games (SEA GAMES 2011), which was claimed by the press as the best opening ceremony in the region. In this capacity, he was appointed as the chief director and show director.
Prior to his tenure at RCTI, Indra served as an executive producer at Trans TV, where his work inspired those around him to strive for excellence. His reputable career ultimately led him to the position of Head of the Production Division at RCTI, where he successfully established the division as the leading in-house production entity in the Indonesian television industry.
In 2010, Indra was appointed as the Programming and Production Director of Kompas TV, a member of the KOMPAS GRAMEDIA GROUP, the largest print media organization in Indonesia. He also led Kompas Gramedia Production, a company responsible for producing notable films such as Garuda di Dadaku 2, Negeri 5 Menara and Sang Penari. Under his leadership, Kompas TV won the Citra Adipariwara Award for Best TV Station of the Year in 2012.
September 2012, Indra worked at Indosiar TV as a Deputy Production Director. In March 2014, Indosiar achieved the distinction of being the number one television station in Indonesia. From 2016 to 2019, he led two in-house TV productions, SCTV and Indosiar (Indonesia Entertainment Produksi), which produced popular shows such as Dangdut Academy and Stand Up Comedy Academy.
Since 2019, Indra has been leading Amadeus Sinemagna, a film production company and VIP creative powerhouse under EMTEK Group, the most prominent Media Company group in Indonesia.
